Wimbledon Yoga STUDIO POLICY

24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY.

Regardless of the circumstances, any classes not rescheduled a minimum of 24 hours before the start time will be charged at the full rate. In the event of late rescheduling (less than 24 hours notice) or a no-show, the full class fee will be forfeited.

TARDINESS.

Our two hours together are a wellbeing space for everyone in attendance. As a courtesy to everyone, entry will be denied from 10 mins after the start time of the class (i.e., 18:45 start - doors close at 18:55).

EQUIPMENT.

Clients are required to bring their own mat and towel to the session. A small pillow, blanket and eye mask may also bring additional comfort.

CLASS TRANSFER.

If you are unable to attend and would like to transfer your lesson to a friend that is welcome. Please email mel@meltoymusic.com with the name change details so they can be accounted for within the class.


FEES.

All classes must be pre-paid through the online booking system via card payment. Pre-paid fees are non-refundable but are able to be rescheduled at any time prior to the 24-hour deadline.


HOW TO OFFICIALLY RESCHEDULE A CLASS.

Classes can be rescheduled using the online booking system. To reschedule your class Click on the link titled ‘View appointments details’ found in your confirmation email. Next, click on Reschedule.


EXPIRY DATES.

All packages have expired dates. Please refer to the date of the package prior to purchasing.

PACKAGES.

The full amount must be paid upfront and is non-refundable. Partial refunds for unused lesson credits in a package are also not given. All classes in the package must be used before they expire six months from the purchase date.

HOLIDAYS.

Prior notice will be given if the studio will be closed due to holidays or special events. Otherwise, please assume that the classes are scheduled as normal. If you wish to move your classes due to holidays (school, public, or otherwise), please see the 24-hour cancellation policy above.

ELECTRONICS.

Clients are prohibited from engaging in recording and photography within the studio. Mobile phones are encouraged to be switched to silence or aeroplane mode/do not disturb for the comfort of all practitioners during the session. In the event that the instructor wishes to photograph or record during the session advance notice will be given to all clients, who will also have the right to opt-out of engaging with the task.

LIABILTY AND RISK.

Every effort will be made to ensure the safety and comfort of clients. However, yoga practices can be physically, cognitively, and emotionally engaging and may lead to some exertion in these respects (e.g., falls, injuries, and emotional triggers are all possible). Your instructor is not a medical professional. Clients are responsible for informing their instructor of any pre-existing health or injury concerns and for seeking medical advice from a certified professional (e.g., doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian) where appropriate. Clients agree to not pursue the studio for damages resulting from physical, cognitive, or emotional injuries, including from negligence.
